In Acrylic Painting Studio: Natural Compositions, artist Staci Swider will show you, and student Amy Jones, how to make nature-inspired paintings using techniques that allow the plants and flowers to develop organically, much like they do in nature. After creating a colorful underpainting, Staci demonstrates how to use fluid paint to develop an organic grid. She’ll then show you how to interpret those lines and intersections as horizon lines, stems and flower buds.
