Description

This medium is made using a synthetic oil itself made from drying oils we call alkyd resin. The main reason to use this material is that it interacts very well with driers to create paintings and mediums that dry quickly.Alkyd butter, thickens the consistency of oil paint and allows it to dry much more quickly. It is particularly useful for painting impastos, where it helps to assure that the paint dries thoroughly.

We recommend not using more than 50% of this medium to the volume of oil paint as it may cause wrinkles and crackling.
